Let me introduce myself

Hello! My name is Marissa and I am the face behind Knitted by Marissa. I am 29 years old, live in Dordrecht, am married, and a proud mother of two children.

Besides my work in healthcare, I have always enjoyed being creative. Before I started Knitted by Marissa, I used to bake cakes, but over time I found less pleasure in it and started looking for a new hobby. After exploring various creative projects, I discovered French knitting. Perhaps not the first thing that comes to mind, but I soon saw how many beautiful and unique creations you can make with it.

What started with an idea for personalized name hangers, grew into an increasingly extensive assortment of handmade decorations for baby and children's rooms, maternity/gift baskets, keychains, stone cords, and much more. Each item is made with much love, care, and attention, so you bring something special into your home.

My dream is to further grow Knitted by Marissa in the coming years and to make many more people happy with unique handmade creations. For now, no physical store, but I do have a webshop.
